According to a 2003 study published in the journal of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, behavioral training may help in the treatment of urge incontinence. The study, which was a secondary analysis of data from three randomized, clinical trials, consisted of 258 ambulatory, community-dwelling women between the ages of 40–92 years. Results showed that urge incontinence was reduced by 75% following 8 weeks of multi component behavioral training.
