Broccoli Reverses Damage Caused by Diabetes to Blood Vessels

People with diabetes are usually prone to cardiovascular diseases which are linked to damaged blood vessels. Sulforaphane, a compound found in broccoli, encourages production of enzymes that protect these blood vessels. So, if you are a diabetic, eating broccoli is good for you.
