Summary:Various forms of therapeutic superficial tissue manipulation have been practiced for thousands of years across cultures. Interest in massage surged in the 1970s, particularly in athletes and as a complementary therapy to promote well-being, relaxation, pain-reduction, stress-relief, musculoskeletal injury healing, sleep enhancement, and quality-of-life. A common goal of therapy is to "help the body heal itself." Touch is fundamental to massage therapy and is used by therapists to locate painful or tense areas, to determine how much pressure to apply, and to establish a therapeutic relationship with clients.Scientific Evidence:Uses These uses have been tested in humans or animals. David Lenkovitzki I have started Tai Chi Chuan practice in earnest after my second crash and burn, I was debilitated, suffered from chronic back pain and stiff neck and shoulders.

Now, 30 years later, I'm in great shape, I run a business, I practice for over 3 hours daily and teach evenings.

Tai Chi Chuan teaches correct posture, body use, breath, relaxation in reaction to stress; however, this is not a panacea, I worked harder than at any other endeavor in my life to make it work.

ANGELO I was feeling really stressed out and I heard that Navratna oil might help. The results were good. I massaging the oil on my scalp and across my head. It also relieved shoulder aches and headaches. You can find Navartna oil just about any Ayurvedic store.
