Reflexology involves the application of manual pressure to specific points or areas of the feet that are believed to correspond to other parts of the body. Reflexology is often used with the intention to relieve stress or prevent/treat physical disorders. Pressure may also be applied to the hands or ears. A large trial comparing reflexology to relaxation or no therapy reports that reflexology is not effective for managing chronic lower back pain.

User Experiences

Mary I had low back pain so severe it caused me to limp and I could not do many activities that I enjoyed. I had tried many different things for the pain including medications and chiropractic but after I started receiving acupuncture on a regular basis my back pain went away. Now, I receive regular treatments once a month and it regulates my health and stops the pain.

Michael I went to an Ayurvedic doctor who suggested I add flax ghee turmeric and licorice root to my diet for asthma. I have found that it does help.

george I went to an Ayurvedic practitioner and she suggested I do oil massages with coconut oil and eat oatmeal and ghee. These small changes have really improved my mood.
