Currently there is insufficient human evidence to recommend honey for the treatment of rhinoconjunctivitis. One poor quality trial reported no benefit of the use of honey for the treatment of rhinoconjunctivitis. I take honey for my allergies and it has been quite effective. Note that honeycomb can exacerbate symptoms, however.

As we approach the allergy season, my mom used to tell me to eat some honey to stave off the allergies. It still works for me.

I take honey for my allergies and cold. I find that it stops my coughing and also improves my breathing and heals my sinuses.
