Acupuncture
: Acupuncture plus point-injection has been found beneficial for obstinate urticaria (hives), although more research is needed to confirm these findings.Special care is taken for pregnant patients in avoiding needling sites on the abdomen and sacrum to protect the fetus and prevent stimulation of contractions.
