Acupuncture
: Acupuncture plus point-injection has been found beneficial for obstinate urticaria (rash). However, more research is needed to confirm these findings.Acupuncture needles must be sterile in order to prevent disease transmission. Avoid with valvular heart disease, infections, bleeding disorders or with drugs that increase the risk of bleeding (anticoagulants), medical conditions of unknown origin, or neurological disorders. Avoid on areas of the body that have received radiation therapy and during pregnancy. Use cautiously with pulmonary disease (like asthma or emphysema).
