Applied kinesiology
: Applied Kinesiology (AK) uses muscle strength testing to identify nutritional deficiencies and health problems. Those who practice AK believe that weakness in certain muscles corresponds to specific diseases or body imbalances. AK is commonly used to diagnose food intolerances. However, evidence is mixed as to whether AK can aid in this type of assessment.
