Andrographis (Andrographis
paniculata) has been widely used in Indian (Hindu) folk medicine and Ayurvedic forms of medicine. A combination of andrographis with Siberian ginseng or eleuthero (Eleutherococcus senticosus) called Kan Jang ® may be effective in the treatment of acute upper respiratory tract infections including sinusitis (inflammation of the sinuses), a common symptom of colds.
