  Summary:Qi gong is a type of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) that is thought to be at least 4,000 years old. It is traditionally used for spiritual enlightenment, medical care and self-defense. Qi gong is meant to be in balance with the environment and has been described as "a way of working with life energy." In traditional Chinese medicine, qi gong is used to treat health conditions like cancer, chronic fatigue syndrome, osteoporosis (hollow or brittle bones), high blood pressure, stomach ulcers and asthma.Scientific Evidence:Uses These uses have been tested in humans or animals.
