Lactobacillus acidophilus Overview

 
 Summary:Lactobacilli are bacteria that normally live in the human small intestine and vagina. Many human studies report benefits of L. acidophilus for bacterial vaginosis (common vaginal infection characterized by symptoms such as increased vaginal discharge or itching, burning, or redness in the genital area). More studies are needed before L. acidophilus can be recommended for other medical conditions.Scientific Evidence:Uses These uses have been tested in humans or animals.
