A randomized, double blind, placebo controlled study conducted by the German researchers revealed that devil’s claw (Harpagophytum procumbens) can significantly reduce muscle stiffness in patients with moderate back, shoulder, or neck pain. In the study, sixty three patients were divided into a verum group and a placebo group.
