Applied Kinesiology Overview

 
   Summary:Applied Kinesiology (AK) uses muscle strength testing to identify nutritional deficiencies and health problems. Those that practice AK believe that weakness in certain muscles correspond to specific diseases or body imbalances. George Goodheart Jr., a chiropractor, developed AK in the 1960s. Chiropractors, naturopaths, medical doctors, dentists, nutritionists, physical therapists, massage therapists, nurse practitioners and other providers use AK.Scientific Evidence:Uses These uses have been tested in humans or animals.
