Sugary Soda May Damage Kidneys
www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov - October 20, 2008

to kidney damage. However, diet soda or moderate intake of sweetened soda did not contribute to kidney disease.
The study found an association between sweetened sodas and albuminuria. Albuminuria is a marker of early kidney
damage.
