Multi-Tasking your way to Insomnia?

With so much of our culture experiencing multi-tasking.  It is no wonder our mind has difficulty slowing down when its time to rest!  It has been reported that over 20 million Americans currently suffer from insomnia.  With over-worrying or active thinking taking up so much of the mind, these people often find it impossible to get a good night's rest.  With depression, anxiety, health issues and overall moodiness tied to insomnia, suffers often become overwhelmed and feel that they must turn to medicine because good sleep is such an integral part of being human.  This however, is not curing the problem/the cause, but only treating the symptom.

The problem/cause lies in the mind.  A mental habit pattern , or "program" of sleeplessness begins to run in the brain.  Clincial hypnotherapy, the use of hypnosis in a gentle and therapeutic way, allows the mind to quiet and restore natural healthy sleep patterns.  In my practice, I have seen many examples (to use computer terms) of how quickly the mind can "defragment", or find the mental block or habit and return to deep restful sleep.  One of the most valuable attributes of this type of therapy is that there are no negative side effects.  Often clients report getting a good night's sleep after their very first session.  From overcoming insomnia, easing pain for chemotherapy patients, and even treating erectile dysfunction, the medicinal qualiites of hypnotherapy are vast.  I encourage everyone to investigate it.  It is one of the most natural ways to restore health and well being.  Afterall, the mind and body are connected.  Change comes from the inside out!
