According to an article published in the British Medical Journal, positive thinking may get you pregnant.

According to the journal, the stress factor of infertility is what is removed by positive thoughts.  In fact, in study where women were asked to replace their negative thoughts with affirmations of pregnancy being a possibility, there was a 50% success rate in pregnancies. At the same time, women receiving the standard advice achieved just a 10% success rate.

This is an incredible study. I'm going to try thinking more positively myself. On the aside, I did run into a woman the other day who was trying to get pregnant for 2 years before she finally just told herself that it was time and repeated that to herself throughout the day. She's now about a month away from her due date. :)
