With increasing number of people going in for alternative therapies, more insurers and employers have started covering the non-conventional system of medicine. This will definitely help move alternative medicine into the mainstream. Some are even pushing to require or expand coverage as part of health care reform. However, some feel that this may lead people to use alternative remedies that are of unproven value or they might end up paying for the unproven, un-insured alternative remedies.
