"Relationship Therapist with a Wholistic Perspective"

About me
Megan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Specialization
Megan enjoys helping people who want to have loving, joyful relationships. Visit her website to see how you can receive a free initial 50-minute face-to-face consultation.
Experience
With a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy I am trained to work with clients from a systemic perspective. This means I don't seek to pathologize, but rather I look at the patterns of behavior in which you (whether an individual, couple, or family) are engaged that may or may not be working for you.

By identifying these systems (family of origin, faith tradition, culture, education, occupation, etc...) you can decide which patterns you want to maintain and which you want to let go of.

If this sounds like a process that interests you, please feel free to give me a call.

I'll look forward to hearing from you.

Psychotherapy
A psychotherapist is a trained mental health care professional who helps people identify and work through the factors that may be the cause of psychological or emotional distress. Psychotherapy is the treatment of emotional or behavioral problems through the use of psychological techniques, often in one-to-one interviews or small groups. Psychotherapy is beneficial for many conditions such as depression, binge eating. It also helps the patient in developing skills for improving relationships, as well as understanding self, personal goals, and values. As with any CAM treatment, please keep your CAM provider and PCP informed of any alternative or conventional treatments you are currently undergoing to insure safety and suitability.
