Reviews
"I met Linda in 2005 through the Valley Chamber. I invited her to participate in many of my corporate health fairs. She is truly phenominal. She has a wonderful gift for healing and helping people. She is blessed with warmth and compassion, especially for those in the greatest need. I have referred her to friends, professionals, and medical providers. She has a wonderful gift..please help her share it." - Lisa Bisson - Griffin Hospital
"The Shelton area has needed these types of classes for quite some time. I also have referred friends to her and it is amazing how after just one session, you can walk out feeling truly transformed inside & out. Linda is so wonderful!" - Laura Parente
"Linda is a gifted healer. Always willing to help others. She has attended our Baby Fair at Griffin Hospital from the beginning and many of our patients (and my personal friends) have enjoyed her classes! Very knowledgable and a great resource for expectant Moms! Thanks for all you do, Linda!! :) Shelly" - Shelly Taylor
"I've been a student of Linda's since she started her studio. She is always trying new postures and incorporating different styles of yoga. This opens our eyes to other kinds of yoga (Vinyasa, etc) and defintely keeps her students challenged. She's done a great job of developing classes that work no matter what level student you are. She always shows the newcomers the basic posture and then tells how to make it more challenging for the advanced students. Her warm, welcoming studio combined with her friendly, supportvie personality make this a haven for all who attend her classes." - Caryn
"I am a massage therapist and specialize in prenatal and postnatal massage. I have worked on many of Linda's students from her prenatal yoga classes. Every single one of them speaks so highly of Linda and how much her yoga expertise has helped them through the discomforts of pregnancy. They also comment on how personally she relates to her students giving them added emotional support. It's my pleasure to share the good word about Linda and the wonderful haven she has created at Mother's Embrace Yoga Studio." - Tracy Grebla LMT In-Tune Bodyworks

Yoga
A yoga therapist is a certified CAM professional who addresses specific health problems of the patient and adapts the poses/asanas accordingly. Yoga is a holistic discipline which believes that integrating the body, the mind, and the spirit can result in harmony with oneself and one’s environment. Exercise, breathing, and meditation are the three main Yoga structures. Yoga is useful for many conditions including high blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis, coping with effects of cancer treatments, depression, anxiety, digestive disorders, asthma, cold, obesity, HIV, gynecological problems, as well as musculoskeletal disorders. As with any CAM treatment, please keep your CAM provider and PCP informed of any alternative or conventional treatments you are currently undergoing to insure safety and suitability.
