When I was sixteen, I hurt my foot while practicing rock climbing. My injury stopped me from doing most of the things I enjoyed. I couldn't walk more than 1/4 mile. I saw many doctors including the best orthopedists and podiatrists in the area. I did not receive any relief. After suffering for a couple of years, I sought care with a chiropractor. She was the first doctor to help me. With her care I was able to walk again. At the time I was searching for a career. I wanted to do something that could help people and provide a contribution to the world. While sitting in her office one day, it dawned on me that by becoming a chiropractor I could be a benefit to the world. I then decided to become a chiropractor and nutritionist.
After graduating from chiropractic college, I completed many postgraduate programs to learn more about the body and how to help it function better. I worked at several offices, before opening my own office in 1990. I have extensive training and experience in the treatment of injuries and chronic pain, but I enjoy most helping people achieve optimal wellness. Since 1999 I have specialized in low force chiropractic ,clinical nutrition, allergy elimination and neuro-emotional techniques.
I am a Marin County native. I have two sons. We enjoy skiing, snow boarding, surfing, camping, biking, and swimming. I speak Spanish.

Chiropractors are doctors of chiropractic care, or D.C.s. They diagnose patients with health problems of the musculoskeletal system and treat the effects of those problems on the nervous system and general health through spinal manipulation or adjustment. Chiropracty is a natural, drugless, non-surgical health treatment which relies on body’s inherent recuperative abilities. Chiropractic therapy can be used for many aliments including pain, headaches, stiffness, and muscular spasms. It is also known to increase sense of well being and relaxation. As with any CAM treatment, please keep your CAM provider and PCP informed of any alternative or conventional treatments you are currently undergoing to insure safety and suitability.
