Danshen: Danshen, or salvia (Salvia miltiorrhiza), has been proposed as a possible glaucoma therapy, but further studies are needed in humans before a clear conclusion can be drawn. A human clinical trial found danshen (with and without other Chinese herbs) improved vision in individuals with glaucoma.
