I take pure lemon juice mixed with water every day. Ever since I've started this practice, I have fewer, and milder colds.

I dissolve high doses of vitamin C in heated cranberry juice when I feel a cold coming on. I find that it helps stop the cold in it's tracks (or at least lessens the duration and intensity of my colds).
