How long it takes depends on a wide variety of factors, and even the most highly qualified therapist can only give you a rough estimate of number of sessions on an initial phone call. However, different techniques can have an impact on length of time. For example, with anxiety traditional talk therapy may take years to feel lasting results. Other techniques, such as Medical Hypnoanalysis can take as little as 10-30 sessions before you begin to see results. All of this impacts overall cost which may be more important that cost per session.
