Q

Are there any proven natural ways to lower cholesterol and treat osteoporosis?

I have gotten reflux from plant sterols and fiber not sure what else to try to lower cholesterol, especially LDL. For osteoporosis, I have heard that only 6 mg of strontium are considered safe. Are there any capsules? The pills are hard to swallow. Other ideas for treating osteoporosis naturally? Thank you.

Try low-carb dieting. Contrary to all the hype (which is propaganda) cholesterol is not the enemy; indeed it is essential for the production of hormones which keeps the body healthy and the person happy. Cholesterol is made from saturated fat and in our diet this is mainly from animal fat which are exceedingly healthy and provide the body, in addition to other benefits, with energy which is necessary for healing! If you have been avoiding saturated fats and taking instead polyunsaturated fats then hence your ill-health!

When plaque was analysed it was found to consist of a massive 70% made from polyunsaturated fat, 23% from saturated fat, and 7% from other sources. It is not the fat that furrs the arteries as such, but, they do only in the presence of carbohydrates in the diet.

Grains in particular are the main culprit of osteoporosis and polyunsaturated fats suppress the immune system, so change your diet and begin to enjoy good health.
