Drawing upon the works of Kiko Matsumoto, Dr. Richard Tan, Shudo Denmai, Yoshio Manaka, Tom Tam, other seasoned practitioners, and my own clinical experience, I administer acupuncture that incorporates effective clinical approaches from ancient as well as modern acupuncture practices.
My style focuses on immediate palpable changes in the patient's body. I pay particular attention to the relationship between acupuncture and Western medical theories. Such a relationship is confirmed
through palpation as a means for verification of treatable acupuncture points.
In addition, I choose the intensity of the acupuncture treatment according to the needs and preferences of my client. My methods range from
non-insertion techniques (utilizing "touching" needles, tiger warmers, lasers, and magnets), to more stimulating practices ( using chinese needle
techniques, pachi-pachi, and electrical stimulation). The health and well-being of my client is always my top priority.
